Action appeals
We work hard to ensure that we’re taking the correct action when an account is reviewed, but we recognize that sometimes mistakes happen. Users have up to 6 months to appeal an action. During the appeal process, our teams will re-review the case, confirm whether or not the original decision was correct, and if it wasn’t we reverse the action. Users can access information about each action taken, submit an appeal, and learn about the outcome in the Appeal Center. Appeal outcomes can include:
Reversing a ban and reinstating an account
Reinstating content that had been removed or hidden
Reversing a warning and making sure the action doesn’t count towards a future ban
Removing an account from a challenge or verification requirement
